Feedback From Students

Ever wonder what we do with client feedback?

Student feedback is used for a variety of reasons:

  1. to monitor program effectiveness;
  2. to enhance the curriculum;
  3. to develop new programs
  4. to continue to improve both our corporate and traditional foreign language and ESL programs on an ongoing basis.

Excellent Results

My Arabic instructor taught the critical aspects of life abroad, those needed to properly function as an American diplomat. I am now better prepared to engage in international affairs on behalf of the United States of America than many seasoned diplomats. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to your department and the University for helping me to become a much better representative of the US.

Ricardo Romero, Attaché, U.S. Embassy - Sana’a, Yemen

The University of Detroit Mercy’s Japanese program is the most advanced program that fits in with my work schedule. The instructors have taken a personal interest in my language training.  They have done a great job preparing me for meeting with Japanese clients and adapting to Japanese business culture.

I have found the Spanish for Medical Professions course to be a valuable and enriching experience.  The instructor was dynamic and capable and went the extra mile to meet my very specific needs. I have learned a lot in the introductory group course, and am already looking forward to the next level.

"I couldn't have been happier with my choice of UDM's program. Professors Duelz and Iwondo were top-notch. They did their absolute best to see me through a difficult 6-month intensive training period leading up to my departure to French-speaking Africa. I would definitely use UDM again."
