Program Applicants
The candidate for the Intelligence Analysis program is encouraged to bring a variety of skills and abilities to the program from their undergraduate curriculum and/or their personal background and experiences. While no candidate will likely possess skills in all possible areas, some of the more relevant skill areas include: languages, computer programming skills, knowledge of international relations (political science), crime prevention and law enforcement experience, applied security experience, statistics, and history and geography.
A personal interview, which will be conducted by a panel of department faculty, will be required for admission to the program. The purpose of the interview will be twofold: to explain the nature of the program in detail, especially to assure that the candidate is aware of the career related applications, and secondarily to help assess the suitability of the candidate for the program.
