About Us

OVER 25 YEARS OF CUSTOMIZING LANGUAGE PROGRAMS.

CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL ADULTS.

You need not be a UDM student to enroll.

The L&CT Program helps students to reach out locally and globally through mastery of language, comparison of cultures, and an ecumenical context for learning.  UDM offers language courses in a TRADITIONAL setting, as well as structuring coursework to meet the communication needs of persons in BUSINESS, HEALTH CARE, GOVERNMENT and NON-PROFIT AGENCIES.  Coursework can be tailored for your needs, too!

Off Campus Language Instructionis available in Arabic, Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, English as a second language (ESL), and others.

Through its offerings in foreign languages and English as a second language (ESL), the Language and Cultural Training Department seeks to imbue students with linguistic and cultural knowledge of modern foreign countries. Because today's students live in a multicultural and multilingual world, the curriculum provides the tools, competence, and cultural orientation to enable them to do so successfully.
