Linda Slowik
Dr. Slowik is the Interim Program Director of the Master's Program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and an Assistant Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy, Department of Psychology. She completed her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Wayne State University in 2000. Her research interests include individual differences associated with safety including cognitions, behaviors and value assessments, the definition of and antecedents and consequences of empowerment, the study of office characteristics and their effects on performance and affective outcomes, as well as increasing understanding of time as a context factor in the work environment.
