Mary Elizabeth Hannah
Professor, Director of the School Psychology Program, and former Chair of Psychology, teaches courses in consultation, social processes, and psychological testing. Her research deals with attitudes towards persons with disabilities and with siblings relationships. She has co-authored a scale on helping within families.
Dr. Hannah served as secretary of the National Association of School Psychologists as well as delegate. A recipient of the liberal Arts Faculty Excellence Award, Dr. Hannah also received a Presidential Award from the National Association of School Psychologist for service to the profession. She holds a B.A. degree from Sweet Briar College, a M.A. degree from Alfred University, and a Ph.D. degree from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University. She came to UDM in 1977.
