As Director of Study Abroad, I am proud to say that we conduct three successful study abroad programs, programs which, especially since September 11, need support more than ever before. I head up the British Studies at Oxford Program, in continuous operation for nearly twenty years. It features exciting summer courses at renowned Oxford University in art, art history, business, communication, English history, the British novel, Chaucer, drama, education, and political science. Most of these are taught by superb Oxford University professors. Immersion in English culture gives our American students invaluable exposure to new views of the world that inevitably lead to the humanizing of international relations and the prospect of world peace, something the world is in desperate need of.
